Warranty Support

Hey there! Vava just declined a warranty claim on my projector for not having access to the order number my projector was ordered on (I had received this as a gift from a now deceased friend). I’m wondering -

Has anyone actually had a successful warranty claim? Since their a company based in California - has anyone started a claims process with their department of consumer protection? I live in Minnesota and will be filing a claim in my state along with California, but I wanted to know if mine will be the first or if others have done the same.
