The suction cup on my VAVA dashcam melted and slip the cam down the windshield. I love the cam is there anyway i can replace the mount with more reliable suction cup? I looked for a replacement but you don’t offer one… please help… also, is there a good solvent that can remove the sticky streak down the center of my windshield?
@GLSnj We are sorry to hear that you have issues with your car mount. Please try the steps below.
- Scrub the surface with a household cleaner, rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and dry thoroughly.
- Rinse the inside of the suction cup under warm water then shake off the excess water.

Sorry but that doesn’t work… the suction cup melted and left a sticky slime down my windshield… there is nothing left of the suction cup the clean… next suggestion???
