Hello I have a VA-VD005, and It won’t connect to the WiFi. I tried using the reset button and no luck. I decided to try a firmware update, but can’t find VD005 on the site, so I tried the file for 004 and no luck.

Hi, @GeedsGarage Thank you for notifying us about the issue. We will look into this immediately. Please note that this model is already a phased-out unit. We will try to provide you with T.S steps to try and fix this issue.
Troubleshooting dashcam:
- When you connect to the VAVA WIFI try to turn off mobile data on your phone.
- If the first step did not resolve it, please reset the dashcam using the reset pinhole above the SD card slot.
- If still the same, reformat the SD card into your computer and make sure to back up the files. The format is either NTFS or exFAT.
- Make sure to check for updates on the dashcam and check if you are now able to connect to the WIFI and access the app
- Uninstall and Reinstall the VAVA app.
